About The Position
Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC has been providing elite legal representation to mortgage servicers in the context of foreclosure and bankruptcy cases since 2010. Our offices, home to more than 1,100 employees across 19 states, work diligently to ensure our interests are in constant alignment with those of our clients. The Associate Attorney provides new hires with an opportunity to learn about and familiarize themselves with our various practice areas, as well as demonstrate their ability to meet performance expectations. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. PA bar required, if also barred in NJ a plus. Office locations in Fairfield, NJ and Mt. Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
- Demonstrate an excellent ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
- Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team of experienced professionals
- Juris Doctor
- Bar membership in Pennsylvania and if also barred in NJ is a plus
- Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters
- Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate actions
- Ensure all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
- Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
- Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable
