ASSEMBLER

SINCLAIR MANUFACTURING COMPANY LLCNorton, MA
$17 - $18Onsite

About The Position

This role involves performing assembly tasks, ensuring the work area is clean and organized, and accurately logging component quantities and lot numbers. The Assembler is responsible for verifying all necessary materials, drawings, and process sheets are available before starting a traveler. A key part of the role includes performing a first article inspection and submitting it to Quality Control (QC). If the first article is approved, the Assembler proceeds with running fixtures through the furnace, keeping track of quantities and timings. If the first article is not approved, the Assembler must consult their supervisor. The position requires performing two in-process checks daily, conducting visual and mechanical inspections, and logging results. Any issues with testing processes must be reported to the supervisor. The Assembler also needs to review assembly rejects identified by QC to help correct problems and ensure any necessary rejects are deglassed to complete the work order. Maintaining accurate records of daily work on each work order and providing a daily slip to the supervisor are also required. At the end of the day, the work area must be left clean and organized. This description also includes details for an Assembler 1 role, which focuses on simpler, repetitive jobs until the required skills are developed.
