About The Position
The ideal candidate will join our established aftercare team, which includes highly skilled and knowledgeable plumbers and HVAC technicians. You will collaborate closely with other dedicated team members to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful completion of projects. True Mechanical is the largest mechanical contractor in Western Canada. We specialize in designing and installing commercial, institutional, and residential mechanical systems in new developments in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the BC Interior. We are committed to using the latest in technology and industry developments to develop a better product. Requirements
- Gas B Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and/or institutional settings.
- Red Seal Certification HVAC
- Full understanding of drawings and specifications for Mechanical, Architectural, and Structural, with the ability to coordinate with other disciplines
- Experience with VRF and Chillers
- Proficient in take-off/site design and material management
- Understanding of sub-trades' scope/scheduling/interference
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with other dedicated team members to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful completion of projects.
- Manage, mentor, and supervise 1st/2nd/3rd/4th year apprentices.
Benefits
- The hourly base rate is $57.12, as determined by UA Local 516 BCA/Rate Sheet.
- Benefits are provided through the union, as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
- Candidates with advanced experience or a Gas B ticket may be eligible for a dual ticket, Foreperson or General Foreperson rate, based on their qualifications and expertise.
