About The Position

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of primary residence and in the state where medical services are provided.
• At least 2 years of experience as a psychiatric advanced practice provider.
• Psychiatry certification (PMHNP or Psychiatry CAQ).
• DEA license.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Patient-first mindset.
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all age groups.
• Manage medications for diagnosed psychiatric treatment conditions.
• Provide medication-assisted treatment to patients with opioid use disorder who are in active withdrawal or recovery.
• Provide supportive psychotherapy and motivational interviewing using trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and patient-centered approaches.
• Coordinate psychiatric care, substance use treatment, and medical integration.
• Provide direct support to scheduled and walk-in patients.
• Complete validated rating scales, documentation, and treatment plans to help determine the appropriate level of care.
• Coordinate care, including psychological testing, medical referrals, resources, peer support, housing, and other identified social determinants of health.
• Work directly with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, counselors, peer support staff, and care coordinators.
