About The Position

The Zone / Nationwide Director, Electrophysiology & Structural Heart (EP/SH) provides strategic leadership for Siemens Healthineers intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) and related cardiovascular imaging solutions across a broad U.S. zone or nationwide scope. The role advances adoption of 4D ICE through a partner-led commercial model, working closely with Boston Scientific, which primarily leads catheter sales, system placement, and commercial execution. The Director partners with Boston Scientific and connects physicians, hospital stakeholders, and Siemens Healthineers teams to identify opportunities, develop the market, and coordinate the customer experience. The Director maintains relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, and hospital stakeholders; identifies market and clinical trends; supports customer introductions and strategic discussions; and communicates the clinical, workflow, and economic value of 4D ICE. When needed, the role also supports ACUSON Origin ultrasound system sales to enable 4D ICE procedures. After a customer commits, the Director coordinates delivery, installation, training, clinical support, and ongoing adoption across Boston Scientific and Siemens Healthineers teams. Beyond left atrial appendage closure (LAAC), the Director develops 4D ICE opportunities in Structural Heart procedures, including mitral, tricuspid, and other transcatheter valve procedures. The long-term objective is to establish 4D ICE as a standard of care for WATCHMAN LAAC and Structural Heart procedures, advancing patient care, clinical outcomes, procedural efficiency, and economic value while evolving practice beyond reliance on transesophageal echocardiography guidance. The Director leads through influence across Siemens Healthineers, Boston Scientific, and other partners; aligns teams around priority accounts and customer needs; coordinates internal resources; establishes operating rhythms to monitor activation and adoption; and fosters a collaborative, customer-focused culture. The position requires travel up to 75% and is governed by the company’s Fleet Safety Policy.
