About The Position

The YouthBuild Job Support Specialist supports job engagement activities and participant evaluations, tracks employment and conducts follow-up, and helps address barriers to employment. The role provides support for jobsite tours, hiring events, job referrals, and job development programming as designated by the YouthBuild Director. The specialist collaborates with employer partners and follows all YouthBuild guidelines. Work takes place indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Good computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional skills.

• Experience with the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Support job engagement activities.
• Conduct jobsite participant evaluations.
• Track employment, including during the follow-up period.
• Provide implementation support to help participants overcome job barriers.
• Support jobsite tours and hiring events.
• Coordinate job referrals.
• Assist with job development programming as designated by the YouthBuild Director.
• Collaborate with employer partnerships.
• Follow all YouthBuild guidelines.
