Youth Ministry Director at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida

Young Life•Fort Walton Beach, FL

About The Position

Club Beyond, the Young Life Military program, provides incarnational, outreach-oriented ministry to teenagers from active-duty military families. Because military teens move frequently, staff build a safe, Christ-centered community where teens can form friendships, find belonging, develop hope and resilience, and experience God’s love and purpose. The program is ecumenically focused and serves teens at military installations in the United States and internationally. The Youth Ministry Director will lead and oversee the overall Club Beyond program at a military installation, working with teens, adults, the local community, military personnel, and the chapel community. Staff are required to live near the community where they minister and should be prepared to work in a military culture with frequent turnover among teens, families, chaplains, and volunteers. The role requires a three-year commitment and willingness to raise part of the budget through personal support. Full-time and part-time positions are available; the posting provides full-time compensation and benefits details.
