About The Position

The Yield Engineer is part of Bloom Energy’s Stack Process Engineering team, which develops, characterizes, and improves processes used to manufacture and test solid oxide fuel cells. The role is based at the company’s Fremont, California facility and is fully on-site. The engineer develops and releases new processes into manufacturing, improves the yield and throughput of existing processes, and provides direct production-line support and analysis to help manufacturing meet its goals. The role also involves collaborating with equipment engineering, supplier quality, quality, maintenance, and manufacturing personnel to identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related discipline in engineering or physical science.
• Must be graduating between May 2024 and August 2025.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or stand for a minimum of 30 minutes.
• Ability to navigate congested production areas.
