Yield Engineer
About The Position
The Yield Engineer works within Bloom Energy’s Stack Process Engineering team, which develops, characterizes, and improves the processes used to manufacture and test solid oxide fuel cells. The position is based at the company’s Fremont, California facility and is fully on-site. The role develops, characterizes, documents, and releases new manufacturing processes, while improving the yield and throughput of existing processes. It also supports manufacturing production goals through direct line support and analysis, working collaboratively with equipment engineering, supplier quality, quality, maintenance, and manufacturing personnel to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related discipline in engineering or physical science.
- Must be graduating between May 2024 and August 2025.
