About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Yard Technician for its rental facility in Orlando, Florida. The role helps keep the storage yard in good condition by supporting equipment maintenance and the day-to-day tasks of a rental facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. The position is subject to on-call scheduling, with additional compensation provided.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment offers are contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen, and employment is also contingent on passing a background check.

Requirements

• Safety training and personal protective equipment are required when applicable.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be in an EquipmentShare yard.
• Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and stoop.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Passing a 10-panel drug screen is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report equipment condition before and after use.
• Document incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, and equipment cleaning.
• Demonstrate, load, and unload equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace.
• Advocate for EquipmentShare’s culture and uphold its customer experience standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
