About The Position

Advanced Drainage Systems is hiring a Yard Loader to safely and accurately load and unload deliveries. The role involves operating vehicles safely, interacting with company and non-company drivers and will-call customers, and providing excellent customer service. The position requires flexibility to work 40 or more hours per week and weekends as required. Yard Loaders report directly to the Yard Supervisor and/or Yard Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow a culture of safety, promptly communicating unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries.
• Maintain a safe work environment, including consistent use of personal protective equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other plant machines.
• Conduct final visual inspections and label finished goods to ensure quality.
• Provide good customer service while loading and unloading deliveries and minimizing errors.
• Ensure proper product rotation and track inventory levels.
• Learn and stay current on pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Practice continuous improvement in processes and facility housekeeping.
• Participate in company training programs to develop job skills and earning potential.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
