About The Position

Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) is a manufacturer of stormwater and onsite septic wastewater solutions. A Yard Loader safely and accurately loads and unloads deliveries made and received by ADS, operates vehicles safely, and interacts with company and outside drivers and will-call customers while providing good customer service. The position requires flexibility to work 40 or more hours per week and weekends as required. Yard Loaders report directly to the Yard Supervisor and/or Yard Manager.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and promptly communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries.
• Maintain a safe working environment through consistent use of personal protective equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts and conduct preventive maintenance on forklifts and other plant machines.
• Conduct final visual inspections and label finished goods to ensure quality.
• Provide good customer service when loading and unloading deliveries while minimizing errors.
• Ensure proper product rotation and track inventory levels.
• Learn and stay current on pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Support continuous improvement in processes and facility housekeeping.
• Build and maintain job skills through company training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
