About The Position
The Yard Laborer position will be responsible for torching larger pieces of metal, moving materials, and purchasing scrap from walk-in customers. This role requires regular and timely attendance and adherence to the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
- Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs
- Exerting up to one hundred (100) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to fifty (50) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to twenty (20) pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including making general observations of facilities
Nice To Haves
