About The Position

As a Yard Technician, you’ll help maintain the organization, functionality, and upkeep of the equipment yard. You’ll support delivery coordination, perform basic mechanical repairs, and ensure equipment and tools are ready and available for field crews. This is a hands-on role that’s essential to the daily success of operations. The role is based out of the Harrisburg, PA Yard location and involves on-site, outdoor, equipment-based work in varying conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or trade school equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience managing equipment, tools, and yard operations.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Basic computer proficiency, including inventory tracking, dispatch tools, and spreadsheets.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with equipment repairs.
Ability to work independently and respond to urgent needs as required.

Nice To Haves

Forklift and loader experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain yard cleanliness and organization, including basic facility upkeep.
Coordinate scheduling and delivery of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and shipments.
Perform routine maintenance on generators, compressors, pumps, and other equipment.
Arrange external repairs and assist with pricing and inventory updates.
Track equipment usage and deliveries, and perform weekly and monthly inventory checks.
Clean and prepare vehicles and fleet equipment for storage and deployment.
Ensure proper storage and protection of all equipment and tools.
Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to team members.
