About The Position

Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate for its Frisco branch office. The role performs a range of warehouse and yard functions, including reviewing order documents, accurately pulling and preparing products for customers, and receiving and putting away inbound materials. Daily work is approximately 70% forklift operation to load and unload trailers and 30% manually sorting and staging yard materials. The associate maintains organized stock and a clean, safe working environment while supporting branch operations and providing customer service.

The position offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule and a wage of $20.00 to $23.00. Master Halco describes opportunities for advancement and career development.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or yard position.
• Ability to lift or move heavy materials weighing up to 60 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Sit-down forklift experience is highly desired.
• Experience with building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents and prepare accurate product pulls for customers.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers and safely move materials.
• Sort and stage materials in the yard.
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner, including rotating stock.
• Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Receive inbound materials and put them away.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pull, prepare, and package orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work with the team to support branch success and provide excellent customer service.
