About The Position

Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate for its Frisco branch. The position performs warehouse and outdoor yard work, including preparing orders, loading and unloading trailers, receiving and putting away inbound materials, and maintaining organized yard stock. Daily work is approximately 70% forklift operation and 30% manually sorting and staging material. The associate must work safely, keep the work area clean and organized, and support branch success through accurate order fulfillment and excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced role with a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or yard position.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, up to 60 pounds, on occasion.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Sit-down forklift experience.
• Experience with building materials.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents and prepare accurate product pulls for customers.
• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trailers and move materials.
• Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Receive inbound materials and put them away.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pull, prepare, and package orders for shipment.
• Rotate yard stock and maintain it in a clean and organized manner.
• Sort and stage material in the yard.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.
