About The Position

Heritage Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Yard Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations. The role includes receiving, stocking, and organizing materials and inventory, safely loading and unloading vehicles, verifying orders, and completing shipping and receiving paperwork. The associate follows safety standards, uses personal protective equipment and proper lifting techniques, helps maintain a clean and hazard-free work area, and provides customer service while working with the team to meet delivery deadlines. The role is based at SBI Materials in Windsor, California, and involves active work in an outdoor yard and warehouse, including exposure to noise and hot or cold temperatures. The posting describes a base salary range of $19.00–$23.94 per hour; its introductory text also states up to $28 an hour depending on experience. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to lift and handle freight or materials weighing up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
Prior experience in hands-on, indoor or outdoor yard/warehouse operational work, or a similar environment.
High school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must pass background and drug screenings.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating a front-end loader or other large construction machinery.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Move, stock, and organize products in the yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
Safely and efficiently load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following safety rules.
Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Follow safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment and using proper lifting techniques.
Check and verify orders, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and coordinate with team members to meet delivery deadlines.
Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.
