About The Position

Yard Associates help achieve world-class store performance while contributing to and supporting the overall branch strategy, performance, and growth. They organize product for deliveries to job sites and help maintain the overall organization of the branch. The role includes unloading incoming trucks, loading customer and company vehicles, moving or replenishing products, and assisting customers with product selection. Associates also partner with branch leadership to learn and implement new technologies and ways of working that support business performance. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Safety-minded work ethic.
• Customer-focused, enthusiastic, and dependable team player.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.

Nice To Haves

• Green industry experience and familiarity with landscape, hardscape, nursery, forestry, or irrigation products.
• Experience operating equipment such as a forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from incoming trucks.
• Load products into outbound customer and company vehicles.
• Replenish or move product at the branch as directed.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide additional support when needed.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to positively impact business performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
