About The Position

The Yard Associate, also described as a Porter / Yard Worker, stations and retrieves equipment on the location's property. The role maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment as necessary to ensure it meets specifications. The Yard Associate inspects equipment before and after rentals to document lost or damaged equipment. The job involves working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment and offers opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety-focused approach.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish or another language may be required depending on location needs.
• The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools.
• Some experience and/or training in repairing mechanical equipment.
