About The Position

To partner with our Worship Team and the SW Campus team in carrying out the vision of developing a vibrant worship culture that supports the Vision/Mission and Strategies of SCC. As well as investing in/shepherding volunteers to lead and share that same Vision/Mission.

Requirements

• Pastor / Shepherd at Heart
• Strong communication skills
• Musical skills and lead vocal ability
• Proven volunteer recruitment and training skills
• Desire to work with people
• Strong work ethic and is a team player/collaborator
• Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from a Bible College is preferred but not required
• Experience in leading worship (minimum of 3 years)
• Ordained Minister of the Gospel
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one
• Exemplifies our seven staff values: Honor, Care, Accountability, Grit, Authenticity, Humility, and Fun
• Agree with the Statement of Faith, submit to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantras in tangible ways.

Responsibilities

• Planning services with the Worship Team
• Shepherd, lead, disciple, train and equip volunteers
• Scheduling volunteers
• Running rehearsals
• Learning new songs
• Come alongside the Southwest Campus team/church family by assisting by creating worship environment for all ages
• Pastoral roles – weddings, funerals, etc.
