About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Workstation Associate at MUSC Health Florence in Florence, South Carolina. The role is responsible for assembling patient trays according to menu selections and dietary orders, responding to special requests and needs, and completing cleaning and sanitation tasks such as dishwashing, pot washing, and cleaning kitchen equipment. The position supports patient nutrition and satisfaction while following food-safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and workplace safety procedures. Training is available.

Responsibilities
- Assemble patient trays accurately and promptly according to menu selections on tray tickets.
- Follow dietary restrictions for special and modified diets while meeting food preferences within diet-order guidelines.
- Communicate and address patient food issues, concerns, and needs with Food & Nutrition Services.
- Coordinate with Nursing regarding patient nutrition requirements and unit food-service needs.
- Contribute to patient satisfaction by providing quality service.
- Follow facility confidentiality and patient-rights policies, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Comply with applicable health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
- Follow HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies.
- Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time and according to corporate policies and procedures.
- Use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets.
- Use equipment according to department safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform cleaning tasks, including dishwashing, pot washing, general sanitation, and cleaning kitchen equipment.
