About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach ENG1100 MT00, Workshop in Essay Writing, during the Winter 2027 semester. The course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing, emphasizing grammatical and well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Students will engage in frequent written exercises and develop composition skills. Use of Writing Centre resources is required outside of regular class hours. The course is taught in English and has an expected enrollment of 45 students.

Requirements

Ph.D (English)
An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
