About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1100 MU00, Workshop in Essay Writing, during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing, including grammatical and well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Students will engage in frequent written exercises and develop composition skills, with required use of Writing Centre resources outside regular class hours. The course is delivered online.
Requirements
- Ph.D (English)
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
