About The Position
The Department of English at the Faculty of Arts is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1120 MU00: Selected Topics in Literature and Composition during the Winter 2027 semester. This course focuses on developing critical reading skills and coherent discourse, with readings in multiple genres serving as the basis for discussion and frequent written assignments. It is not repeatable for credit and is not intended for English Majors or Honours students. The expected enrollment is 70 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in English.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Competence in English (language of instruction).
