About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach ENG1100 MM00, Workshop in Essay Writing, during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing, emphasizing grammatical and well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. It involves frequent written exercises and the development of composition skills. Use of Writing Centre resources is required outside regular class hours. The course is scheduled to be held online on Wednesdays from 16:00 to 17:30 and Fridays from 14:30 to 16:00, though the schedule is subject to change.

Requirements

• Ph.D (English)
• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
