About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1120 MM00, Selected Topics in Literature and Composition, during the 2027 Winter Semester at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Arts, Department of English. The course focuses on developing critical reading skills and coherent discourse, with an emphasis on the proper use and acknowledgement of sources. Readings will cover multiple genres and will lead to frequent written assignments. This course is not repeatable for credit and is not intended for English Majors or Honours students. The language of instruction is English.

Requirements

Ph.D (English)
Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred.
An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
