Workforce Manager

PDI•Pueblo, CO

About The Position

The Workforce Manager leads the human and daily-work side of Pueblo Diversified Industries (PDI) Operations, coordinating employee assignments, customer commitments, staffing capacity, and daily job completion. The role complements the Senior Director’s systems leadership and the Warehouse Manager’s execution leadership and does not replace either role. The position plans staffing and assignments, supervises and supports employees, maintains workforce and timekeeping records, coordinates onboarding and training, and monitors labor availability and productivity. It manages routine client communications about capacity, job status, service issues, and completion expectations; escalates pricing, contract changes, and delivery risks; and collaborates with colleagues to assess and develop business opportunities. The Workforce Manager coordinates workforce documentation and reporting with compliance and HR personnel, applies established safety, quality, and employment procedures, and maintains records through approved systems. The role coordinates assignments and priorities with Brian but does not supervise Brian or his direct reports unless PDI formally changes reporting lines. It does not independently change PDI policy, approve unbudgeted spending, change employment terms, or override HR, Finance, or executive leadership authority. The position involves office, production, and warehouse duties. Essential functions include standing, walking, bending, lifting, moving materials, and safely operating assigned vehicles and equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation. Occasional local travel within a 100-mile radius may be required. Operational and travel needs may result in schedule changes or overtime.
