Workforce Manager

Pueblo Diversified Industries Inc•Pueblo, CO

About The Position

The Workforce Manager leads the human and daily-work side of Pueblo Diversified Industries (PDI) Operations, coordinating employee assignments, customer commitments, staffing capacity, and daily job completion. The position complements the Senior Director’s systems leadership and the Warehouse Manager’s execution leadership, without replacing either role. The manager plans staffing coverage, supervises assigned employees, coordinates onboarding and training, maintains workforce records and timekeeping workflows, and monitors labor availability, productivity, and job completion. The role also handles routine client communication about workforce capacity and job status, tracks commitments, and helps evaluate business opportunities in coordination with colleagues. The position coordinates workforce documentation and reporting related to Department of Labor and AbilityOne requirements with designated compliance and HR personnel. It applies established safety, quality, and employment procedures, maintains reliable records, and promptly escalates hazards, incidents, staffing concerns, and other risks. The Workforce Manager coordinates assignments and priorities with Brian but does not supervise Brian or his direct reports unless PDI formally changes reporting lines. The role involves office, production, and warehouse duties, with occasional local travel within a 100-mile radius. Operational needs may result in schedule changes or overtime. The employee must meet specified driving, screening, and insurance requirements. PDI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an AbilityOne participating employer, supporting employment and development opportunities for people with disabilities.
