About The Position

This is a part-time, non-exempt position primarily focused on coordinating events and outreach for Women Speaking Out, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and youth against dating violence through education and action. The role involves managing logistics, developing digital content, and supporting various event-related activities. The position is mostly remote, with up to 19 hours of work per week on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Kōkua ʻIke: Center for Student Learning department at Chaminade University.

Requirements

  • Current Chaminade student
  • Federal Work-Study eligibility through Chaminade
  • 2.0 GPA or higher (must maintain)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vendors, volunteers, and logistics to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage event data and organize school kit distribution for high schools and colleges.
  • Develop engaging digital content such as handouts, presentations, and slideshows.
  • Support event setup, breakdown, mentorship activities, and social media outreach.
