About The Position
2020 Companies is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate, also described as a Wireless Sales Pro, to represent the Walmart Wireless Sales Program in the wireless services section of a Walmart store. The role involves engaging customers about post-paid and prepaid carrier plans, wireless accessories, and service plans; understanding customer needs; and recommending suitable products and services. The position includes paid training, a base plus uncapped commission, and opportunities for career advancement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of prior sales, retail, telecommunications, or marketing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Sell products and services in retail stores, kiosks, and/or event environments.
- Engage with customers about post-paid and prepaid carrier plans, wireless accessories, and service plans.
- Welcome customers courteously, offer assistance, and suggest solutions.
- Escort customers to displays, assess their needs, and recommend products that fit those needs.
- Advise customers by providing information about products and services, and help them make selections.
- Build professional relationships with customers and fellow employees.
- Meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals and established weekly or monthly sales quotas.
- Accurately document and report sales, track activity, and communicate it to Retail Operations.
- Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.
- Keep the workstation or kiosk clean, organized, functional, and presentable.
- Collaborate with the team to accomplish goals and contribute to related results.
- Maintain regular and prompt attendance and protect customer confidentiality.
