About The Position

Stew Leonard’s is hiring a seasonal Wine Merchandiser to support its wine and spirits store operations. The role runs from mid-October through the end of December and pays $17.00 per hour. The Wine Merchandiser checks in products, stocks shelves, builds displays, and helps customers find products and with basic wine pairings. The position also supports inventory, store moves, deliveries, product placement, register coverage, and store cleanliness. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Weekend work and closing shifts are required.

Responsibilities

Check in products and ensure shelves are stocked.
Build displays and place products in stores.
Safely operate equipment such as hand trucks, u-boats, conveyors, and forklifts where necessary.
Assist with inventory and store moves.
Sign off on purchase orders as deliveries arrive and verify their accuracy.
Help keep the store clean.
Learn the store’s exclusive and focus items.
Operate the register and cover other areas of the store as needed.
Help customers locate products and provide basic wine-pairing assistance.
Greet customers warmly and help create a welcoming, memorable shopping experience.
Collaborate with team members and offer assistance where needed.
Follow safety procedures and represent the store’s S.T.E.W. values.
Perform other duties as assigned.
