About The Position

Stew Leonard’s is hiring a seasonal, hourly Wine Merchandiser at $17.00 per hour. The season runs from mid-October through the end of December. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The role helps ensure products are checked in accurately, shelves are stocked, displays are built, and customers can get assistance on the sales floor. The position is entry-level and includes opportunities to assist with other areas of the store as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check in products and ensure deliveries and purchase orders are accurate.
• Stock shelves and build displays safely.
• Assist with inventory and store moves.
• Place products appropriately in stores and help keep the store clean.
• Learn the store’s exclusive and focus items.
• Answer customer questions, help customers locate products, and provide basic wine-pairing assistance.
• Operate equipment such as hand trucks, u-boats, conveyors, and forklifts where necessary.
• Be capable of operating the register and covering other areas of the store.
• Greet customers warmly and contribute to a memorable shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and offer assistance where needed.
• Follow safety procedures and represent the store’s S.T.E.W. values in interactions with customers and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
