About The Position

The Wine and Spirits Merchandiser performs active, field-based merchandising in retail beverage outlets across Austin. The role travels to grocery stores and other beverage outlets along assigned routes to ensure products are stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly. It transports products between backrooms and display floors, maintains organized backstock, and uses company-issued technology and systems to support routing compliance, efficiency, account monitoring, and merchandising documentation.

The position is full-time, five days per week, including Saturday, with early morning start times between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Pay is $19.00 per hour, plus overtime and monthly car and mileage reimbursement. Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have reliable personal automobile transportation, a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record.
• Auto insurance coverage must meet the minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull products weighing 25 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Requires 0 to 6 months or more of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure products are stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly along assigned routes.
• Transport products between backrooms and display floors using manual equipment such as a pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency, and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts in company systems and upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
