About The Position

The Wine Merchandiser is an entry-level, seasonal hourly position responsible for ensuring the wine shop is checked in properly, shelves are stocked, displays are built, and customers can get assistance on the floor. The role answers questions about wine shop products and helps customers locate products and make basic wine-pairing selections.

Day-to-day duties include stocking shelves; safely operating hand trucks and U-boats; assisting with inventory and store moves; signing off on purchase orders as deliveries arrive and checking their accuracy; placing products in stores; helping keep the store clean; and learning the store’s exclusive and focus items.

The position requires frequent walking, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, and consistently lifting more than 40 pounds throughout the shift. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The estimated pay range is $17.00–$17.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
