About The Position

The Wholesale Fleet Manager leads Surf On Demand’s wholesale business, distributing aircraft held under exclusive agency through operator supply agreements to charter brokers, travel partners, and other resellers. This role owns the wholesale channel’s strategy, revenue, and profitability; manages the wholesale sales team and the technology and distribution platforms used to market the exclusive fleet; and serves as the primary owner of broker relationships. The manager works closely with supply operators, Operations, Sourcing, and Finance to keep aircraft utilized, competitively priced, and profitable. Surf On Demand is the private charter brokerage and private airline division of Surf Air Mobility, serving a global client base with complex, time-sensitive private aviation needs across aircraft categories. The role is based in Addison, Texas, in a hybrid work arrangement, and reports to the VP, On Demand. The position is full-time and exempt.

Requirements

Seven or more years of experience in private aviation charter sales, brokerage, fleet management, or wholesale distribution.
At least three years managing a sales team, a P&L, or both.
Strong working knowledge of Part 135 charter operations, the broker and operator ecosystem, and aircraft categories from turboprop through large-cabin and ultra-long-range.
Demonstrated success growing revenue and margin in a charter, fleet, or wholesale business.
Hands-on experience with charter marketplaces and industry platforms such as Avinode or similar, CRM systems, and pricing or reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree in business, aviation management, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Available for irregular hours consistent with the 24/7 nature of charter operations.
Strategic thinking paired with hands-on commercial execution.
Strong financial acumen, including pricing, margin analysis, forecasting, and P&L management.
Proven people leadership, including coaching, accountability, and building a high-performing sales team.
Skilled negotiation with brokers and operators.
Comfort leading technology adoption and working with product and data teams.
Clear, confident communication with executives, partners, and clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute wholesale strategy, including target brokers, markets, revenue goals, and margin goals, and identify new supply opportunities with the VP.
Lead technology and distribution of the exclusive agency fleet across charter marketplaces, broker portals, and direct integrations, ensuring availability and pricing are accurate and current.
Own the wholesale P&L, rate cards, and broker pricing to drive revenue, utilization, and profitability.
Monitor performance against each supply agreement and flag risks or opportunities to the VP.
Build reporting and forecasts for pipeline, bookings, utilization, and margin.
Hire, manage, and develop the wholesale sales team, setting targets and holding representatives accountable for results.
Own key broker relationships, negotiate wholesale terms, and serve as the senior escalation point.
Coordinate with Operations, Sourcing, and supply operators to ensure trips are fulfilled safely and in compliance with Part 135 and Part 295 requirements and agreement terms.
