About The Position

The Wholesale Counter Person works with wholesale accounts to provide customer service for Hyundai parts, primarily collision parts, while supporting growth in the mechanical wholesale business. Most of the workday is spent communicating with customers by phone. The role is part of a team of professionals performing similar work, so collaboration and a positive fit with the dealership’s team environment are important. This is not an entry-level position; proven automotive parts sales experience is required. Knowledge of the Hyundai Parts Catalog is recommended.

Requirements

Proven experience or track record in automotive parts sales; this is not an entry-level position.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong understanding of the parts department.
Computer competency, including keyboarding and office-suite skills.
Dealer management system (DMS) skills; the dealership uses DealerTrack.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality, and readiness to work.
Customer-service mentality and a friendly, professional manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
Proven organizational skills.
Solution-oriented approach and willingness to handle whatever needs to be done.
Ability and willingness to work positively with customers and coworkers.

Nice To Haves

Vast knowledge of the Hyundai Parts Catalog is recommended.
