About The Position

Prospect Airport Services is seeking a Wheelchair Agent to provide assistance to passengers requiring wheelchair support at the airport, from curbside through aircraft boarding and arrival. The role supports a professional passenger experience while following company safety and operational standards. Work takes place in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, and may involve outdoor conditions and severe seasonal weather.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Proficient in English.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 70 pounds and constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions, including severe seasonal elements.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Push wheelchairs for passengers requiring assistance and provide a professional customer experience.
• Assist passengers with transporting, checking in, or claiming baggage.
• Lift and assist passengers up or down aircraft stairs and into or out of wheelchairs.
• Gather wheelchairs from the concourse and return them to the staging area.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies and complete work in a safe and secure manner in accordance with company standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards under the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties within the skill and experience capabilities expected for the position.
