About The Position

Prospect Airport Services is seeking a Wheelchair Agent to provide assistance to passengers at the airport from curbside through boarding and aircraft arrival. The role involves delivering professional, safe, and empathetic passenger service, including helping passengers with baggage and mobility needs. Agents follow company safety and operational standards and report safety or security incidents and potential hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
• Proficient in English.
• Able to frequently lift and move up to 70 pounds; constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds; and constantly walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Able and willing to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Push wheelchairs for passengers requiring airport assistance while providing a professional customer experience.
• Help passengers with wheelchair assistance transport, check in, and claim baggage.
• Lift and assist passengers up or down aircraft stairs and into or out of wheelchairs.
• Collect wheelchairs from the concourse and return them to the staging area.
• Follow safety procedures, policies, and company operational standards.
• Promptly report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties within the skill and experience capabilities expected for the position.
