About The Position

Brookdale Morehead City is hiring a Wellness Director for a senior living community that supports residents through Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role leads and manages the community’s clinical team and day-to-day clinical services to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met and they receive respectful, dignified, high-quality care as their needs change. The Wellness Director supervises, leads, and coaches licensed nurses and other direct care staff. The role’s level is determined by community complexity, including factors such as size, product lines, medication management regulations, assessment requirements, licensure requirements, state regulations, and skilled services requiring an RN. Brookdale describes a structured six-week orientation, online resources, local nurse mentors, ongoing collaborative support, and opportunities for career development. Requirements

Education required to obtain a state nursing license and a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
Driver’s license.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong working knowledge of technology and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and electronic documentation.
