About The Position

The Welcome Desk Associate at beFITNESS checks in members and guests, creates a positive first impression, and maintains an inviting reception area. The role provides exceptional customer service in a hospitable, luxury environment while consistently maintaining a positive and professional attitude. The position also supports member appointments and reservations, communicates guest and prospect leads to the membership sales team, and helps keep the club welcoming and orderly.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Have previous customer service experience.
Have basic computer knowledge.
Be punctual and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
Be able to deal with unpleasant or angry people and problem-solve difficult situations.
Be able to adapt to a frequently changing environment.
Be able to stand for long periods of time.
Be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
Be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Have U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in members and guests upon arrival at the club.
Book appointments and reservations for members.
Understand and anticipate members’ needs by listening carefully, being attentive, following through, and providing exceptional customer service.
Perform opening and/or closing duties as required.
Answer and transfer phone calls.
Provide the membership sales team with guest and prospect lead contact information.
Walk through the facility and greet members, pick up abandoned towels, and keep the floor clear of debris.
