About The Position
The Welcome Desk Attendant at the Mary C. Winder Center provides a warm and welcoming environment for visitors and helps create exceptional experiences for Oneida Nation Community Members. The role involves assisting patrons, applying Center policies fairly, processing transactions and registrations, and providing facility tours. The starting pay range is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous cashier or customer service experience.
- Ability to count money and make correct change.
- Ability to use a Point of Sale system.
- Certification in basic First Aid, CPR, and AED, or willingness to become certified.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to Community Center patrons by answering questions or directing them to the appropriate area for assistance.
- Enforce Community Center policies and procedures, including risk and safety policies, dress code, and registration requirements.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the member management system and process transactions and registrations with minimal errors.
- Answer patron questions at the Center and by phone, or direct patrons to the proper area for answers.
- Conduct or assign facility tours upon request.
