Weekend Sign Installer - Dublin, OH
About The Position
Directed is seeking an independent contractor to install and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Davidson Towns community in Dublin, Ohio. Install signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM, and pick up those same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. Work may be completed at any time within those windows, provided all signs are placed and removed by the stated deadlines. The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic mounted on wooden stakes. Artisan Direct provides the signs, stakes, and replacement inventory as needed. Contractors use their own vehicle and mobile device, choose their driving order, and store the signs and extra stakes safely during the week. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employment with Directed. Contractors are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. There are no benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees. Contractors may accept or decline routes but must finish routes they accept.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- At least 18 years old.
- Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30 or more signs.
- Android or iPhone smartphone, roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile app.
- Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors.
- Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only.
- Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend.
- Provide own vehicle and mobile device and cover own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance.
Responsibilities
- Use Directed's mobile application to report sign installations and pickups at specific locations.
- Install signs every weekend between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM.
- Pick up the same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM.
- Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week.
- Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory through the website after completing pickup.
- Complete each accepted route within the required placement and pickup windows.
Benefits
- $82.50 starting compensation per weekend.
- Pay issued by direct deposit every two weeks.
- $20 signing bonus.
- $100 bonus after four weeks of completed work.
- Additional routes may be offered as more work becomes available.
