Weekend Sign Installer - Doylestown, OH
About The Position
Directed is seeking an independent contractor to install and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Silver Woods and Trucen Farms communities in the Doylestown, Ohio area. Signs must be installed between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM, then picked up between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. The contractor may choose when to work within these windows, provided all signs are placed and removed by the stated deadlines. The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic installed on wooden stakes. Directed provides the signs, stakes, and replacement inventory as needed. Contractors use Directed's mobile application to report sign placement and pickup at specified locations, safely store signs and extra stakes during the week, and submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory through the website after pickup. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not employment with Directed. Contractors provide their own vehicle and mobile device and are responsible for fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. Contractors choose their driving order and may accept or decline routes, but must complete routes they accept within the required windows. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered. The recurring weekend work may suit people seeking flexible supplemental income.
