About The Position

Directed is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Maren Reserve community in Plain City, Ohio. Contractors install signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM, then pick up the same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. Work can be completed at any time within those windows, provided all signs are placed and removed by the required deadlines.

The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic installed on wooden stakes. Artisan Direct supplies the signs and stakes and provides replacement inventory as needed. Contractors store signs and extra stakes safely during the week, use Directed's mobile application to report work at specific locations, and submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory through the website after pickup.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employment with Directed. Contractors provide their own vehicle and mobile device, determine their driving order, and are responsible for fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. They may accept or decline routes but must complete routes they commit to. There are no benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees. Starting compensation is $82.50 per weekend, paid by direct deposit every two weeks, with a $20 signing bonus and a $100 bonus after four weeks of completed work. Additional routes may be offered as more work becomes available.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Have a reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30 or more signs.
• Have an Android or iPhone smartphone, roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile app.
• Be able to lift and place signs and work outdoors.
• Be able to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only.
• Be dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend.

Responsibilities

• Use Directed's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations.
