Weekend Laser Operator
About The Position
The Laser Operator is responsible for loading the proper material and programs into the machine and to ensure that the machine is cutting properly while ensuring all procedures and company policies are being followed. This role involves following machine schedule objectives to meet production goals, setting up and inspecting parts, troubleshooting automation errors, performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance, and working with material handling software. The position requires forklift experience and at least two years of general manufacturing/production experience.

Responsibilities
- Load proper material and programs into the machine.
- Ensure the machine is cutting properly.
- Follow all procedures and company policies.
- Follow machine schedule objectives given by supervisor to ensure production goals are met each day.
- Set-up and inspect part in each cell.
- Troubleshoot automation errors both mechanical and program related.
- Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance as necessary.
- Work in material handling software as well as WIP and raw material locations.
