About The Position

Surge is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Laser Operator for a manufacturing team in Anderson, South Carolina. The role operates laser cutting equipment to produce accurate, high-quality metal parts according to production specifications. The position pays $19–$26 per hour, depending on experience, and is full-time on the first shift. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC laser machinery and sheet metal, and can interpret blueprints or technical drawings. Candidates with a strong manufacturing background and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce sheet metal components.
Load materials and monitor machine operations throughout production runs.
Review blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure parts meet specifications.
Verify cut dimensions and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain production quality.
Identify equipment issues, cutting defects, or material discrepancies and report them appropriately.
Follow production schedules and maintain consistent workflow.
Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow established safety procedures when handling sheet metal and operating machinery.
Work with production team members to meet quality and output goals.
