About The Position

Direct Mail Solutions (DMS), a full-service mail and logistics company based in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a reliable, detail-focused Laser Operator for its Production team. The role involves setting up and operating continuous printers, efficiently running print jobs, monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting department productivity. The position is full-time and production-based, with a day-shift schedule of three days per week from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate continuous printers to complete production jobs accurately and efficiently.
Monitor laser printers during production and identify issues that could affect quality, productivity, or operational status.
Take corrective action to resolve equipment or production issues and minimize downtime.
Follow job specifications and production procedures to ensure accurate, high-quality output.
Perform regular production checks to confirm jobs are running properly and meet established standards.
Communicate with team members and supervisors about production needs, equipment issues, and job status.
Support other areas as needed to maximize department productivity.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
