About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team as a licensed stylist or barber at a brand-new salon. The salon is busiest Friday through Sunday, offering a steady customer flow, opportunities to earn tips, and a high-energy, supportive team environment. The position starts with a guaranteed $12 per hour base; the posting expects most stylists to increase their base quickly and average $20–$25 per hour with tips. The schedule is part-time and flexible, with dependable retail hours and the possibility of picking up additional shifts, depending on availability. Customers come through walk-in traffic and Online Check-In, so stylists do not need to bring their own clientele, self-market, manage appointments, or pay booth rent. Training, technical coaching, development opportunities, salon technology, and team support are provided. Medical benefits and paid time off may be available at some locations and may depend on hours worked. All Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, which handle hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barber license; licensing requirements vary by state or province.
• Passion for haircutting and helping customers look and feel their best.
