Weekend Hair Stylist
About The Position
Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team as a hairstylist or barber. The salons are busiest Friday through Sunday, and this role requires evening and weekend availability. Stylists work in a supportive, team-focused environment, serving customers through walk-in traffic and Online Check-In without needing to bring their own clientele or manage appointments. The position offers a steady customer flow, hourly pay plus tips and incentives, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Part-time schedules are available and may vary by salon. Stylists receive skill training, one-on-one technical coaching, and ongoing development through Great Clips University. The role offers opportunities to grow while delivering haircuts and providing excellent customer service. Medical benefits and paid time off may be available at certain locations and may depend on hours worked. Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who handle hiring and personnel matters.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Cosmetology or Barber License; requirements vary by state or province.
- Have a passion for haircutting and helping customers look and feel their best.
- Be willing to listen and provide excellent customer service and genuine connections.
- Have a team-oriented attitude and a desire to contribute to a great team culture.
