About The Position
Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as a stylist or barber in a supportive, welcoming, team-focused environment. Salons are typically busiest Friday through Sunday, and evening and weekend availability is required. The role offers a steady flow of customers, opportunities to earn tips, and hourly earnings of $25–$40 including tips and incentives. This is a flexible, part-time position with dependable retail hours and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts, though availability and schedules may vary by salon. Stylists serve walk-in customers and customers using Online Check-In; bringing a personal clientele, self-marketing, and managing appointments are not required. The role includes ongoing training, technical coaching, career-development opportunities, and access to salon technology and professional tools. Medical benefits and paid time off may be available at certain locations and may depend on hours worked.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
